Trektop problem

I just installed my trektop nx twill but can't get the rear windshield weather strip bar to position correctly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole back portion 3 times, all in a different order to see if one of them worked better. I cracked my garage door, kept the Jeep running, heat on full blast, heater going and still no luck on getting the rear window to stretch down further for me to get the bar in the right place.

The first install is always the hardest, and obviously the heater doesn't generate enough heat to soften the rear window.
 
I know it's odd, but here's what I do when I have to install the Trektop in colder weather: With a warm engine, I open the hood and lay the windows over the engine bay so the radiating heat from the engine warms up the windows. After that you have to quickly install the windows before they get cold again.
